Niels was trained as a pharmacist and have dedicated his later scientific research to the exploration of endocannabinoids and other bioactive lipids at the University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University. From 2018 he has worked in medical affairs for cannabis companies Spectrum Therapeutics and Canopy Growth Corporation, in Europe and globally.

His passion is the education and training of doctors as well as relevant stakeholders in the field of medical cannabis. Within Canify AG Niels is responsible for all scientific developments within the group as well as the strategic build-up of Canify Clinics in Germany.
