Anna Werner is the CEO of Medical Valley and has a strong focus on strategic and operational development of initiatives fast-tracking innovation adoption in healthcare. The Medical Valley European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg (EMN) Association is an internationally leading innovation ecosystem in healthcare management and a partner of EIT Health. Highly specialized research institutions, internationally leading and at the same time many growing companies are active in the Medical Valley. They cooperate closely with world-renowned health research institutions to jointly find solutions for the challenges of healthcare today and tomorrow.

Prior to her position as CEO, Anna worked as a project manager for Medical Valley managing startup support programmes for EIT Health such as Bridgehead and Catapult. Her technical expertise rely on software development in medical imaging and robotics in the field of care and further logistics. Anna also worked for different start-ups specialised in sensor technology and software development.
